Welcoming Dr. Amara Okafor to the Gombe long-term study team

I'm delighted to welcome Dr. Amara Okafor, who joins us this month as a postdoctoral researcher from the University of Edinburgh. Amara's doctoral work on intergenerational cultural transmission in olive baboons positions her perfectly to take on a new arm of the Gombe study, focusing on tool-use diffusion within the Kasekela community over the past two decades.
